My Summer - Keith Britton

The best part of my summer was when I went to Reno to play baseball. It was a very fun because I got to play a lot of baseball. Also I got to go in the casino and play around with friends in 100 degree weather. Another fun part was when I went shopping and brought a lot of clothes for school, they malls out there were really big and had every store I liked and wanted.
Really I went out there to play baseball. We ended up winning the tournament and it was very fun. I am one of the best players on my team so I played a big role in helping us win. I pitched 2 of the games both of them were complete game shutouts. Baseball is my life I don’t know what I would do if I didn’t have it. My whole summer was mainly based on playing baseball. But that is what I love so I have no problem doing what I love. What made the summer really fun was….committing to a D1 college SJSU. I will be attending that school in the fall of next year it will be a very good experience to go to college to play baseball. When I went to their showcase in the summer they were very impressed my talents so they offered me a scholarship right on the spot and I accepted it.

Another good part of my summer was hanging out with friend and girls. I would mainly go to the mall with my friend or just hang out at the house or sometimes we would even go to parties. My friend played a big role in why my summer was so good. I stayed out of trouble this summer, usually I would get in trouble a lot in the summer because I would be having too much fun and would end up doing something very stupid and end up having to pay a fine or being sent to juvie. In the summers before that happened it is no fun sitting there behind bars with nothing to do and locked away, hopefully I will never have to go through that again because I got into a lot of trouble with my dad. I will much rather just hang with my friend and play baseball like I always have and always will love doing. So overall I had a great summer I did so many thing met some many new people and just got my work done by knowing what college I am going to. Hopefully my next summer is just like this one because it was very exciting.

  1. What position do you play?

My grandpa use to pitch - although he never made it to the major leagues - he got as high as AAA and played with some others who did end up in the majors.
